My Stripes

Dear Polka Dots,

As much as I have loved you all my life (and still do), I have to let you know that I have also developed irresistable feelings for them stripes. The infatuation started sometime early this year, but little did I know that the 'fling' would develop in this full-blown, compulsive and consuming love affair. Not just with the black and white, but with the whole rainbow of the colors they come in! I know I have hurt you on a lot of levels, but want you to know that I will never ever forget you. You are my first love, and I shall always love you. Hope you can forgive me and one day we will all live happily with one another - you me and them stripes!
