At home on a rainy evening...
Post earthquaking and during the hurricaning, being holed up in the house and lounging in the sun room, actually enjoying the lush greenery and pouring rain - am having hot chai with kachoris (spicy lentil balls, deep-fried)... and wishing everybody on the east coast to be safe and dry. Sending good wishes and pretty pics for you to enjoy in the meanwhile :)
We can still picture a beach without that Irene, no?
I am sure some of you are enjoying margaritas while some are finding bliss in piping hot tea or coffee!
Wish you are having some well-needed time with loved ones, have an umbrella(s) stocked up and make a party out of the flooding - stay safe!
Clutchin' the Clutch
Ever spotted a girl without a purse, bag, wallet or a tote? Chances are, never, or perhaps hardly ever! Many a guys (read all of them) wonder about the residents of the Pandora's boxes but hey, a girl needs space to store 'her world', no? What does 'her world' include, you ask? Well, very very very important stuff that really you don't need to know and we certainly don't wish to tell ;) Among the vast arrays of handbags, a clutch is a different but fashionable way to carry the 'world' and an expression of art at that, methinks!

Yes, it's Friday, and yes, I am happy but I am not going out in the 100+ degree heat and hope all you dears will do everything to keep yourselves cool as well! Am sending some cool thoughts and even cooler outdoorsy pictures your way - so what if we cannot/don't wanna be out melting in this heat, we can atleast see them cool pics, yes?
A cozy patio with loads of shade (with a fan) or a bathtub/shower is all I need to relax this weekend :)
Now only if I had a pool with a floating bed on it...
.. even better the best thing in life to have is this bedroom with the AC on and nature in :)
Mid-day Sugar Fix
Hello y'all! It's been long I posted; just have been a spoilt lazybum :) How are you holding up in this hot hot weather? Let's have a summer party to beat the heat, what say you? A few of these grown-up frozen pops with champagne will cool the hearts and minds alike :)

It's Bedtime!
For some weird reason, sleep has been on M's mind lately and what can I say, now it's on mine as well! Not that we don't get enough sleep, but gotta blame someone/something, no? It's either this darn heat or M's influence, but I did rather prefer the latter ;) But recently I chanced upon these beautiful bedrooms - and what's a little sleeplesness that a healthy dose of serenity (bedrooms) can't cure?
